Prior to opening Smile 360 Implant and Family Dentistry in 2019, Dr. Byars worked at Coast Dental and Dental Care Alliance, both of which are in the Tampa, FL area. Throughout his 12-year military career, Dr. Byars continued his dental education, including a yearlong fellowship in oral surgery. While stationed in Italy, he provided surgical and general dental care to military families. In 2008, Dr. Byars accepted a special assignment and was one of only three sailors attached to Naval Station Bahrain, followed by a transfer to Key West, and then the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Byars is committed to investing in the latest technologies and hiring talented and friendly team members, including an on-site dental lab technician, nurse anesthetist, practice manager and dental assistant.
